Goodyear Europe announce they are removing Dunlop from their registered name

Following on from Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operation in Belgium changing its trading name to Goodyear Operations (Belgian Branch) in January. It has now been announced that the UK and the entire European division will begin the process of removing Dunlop from Goodyear’s registered company name over the next two years. Therefore in due course the company will just be known as ‘Goodyear’.
However Goodyear has also confirmed that despite this major name development they will continue to manufacture Dunlop branded tyres and will support existing products and OE fitments for the rest of the products life cycles. The company will continue to offer the same portfolio of Goodyear, Dunlop, Fulda, Sava and Debica branded tyres and services throughout all European market sectors.
