Kordsa introduced its sustainability driven solutions at the Tire Technology Expo 2025 in Hannover, Germany held from March 4-6. As part of its commitment to sustainable tyre manufacturing, Kordsa showcased REV Technologies—its brand developed to support the needs of electric vehicles with high-performance products. The company also presented cord fabric made from rPET, produced from recycled plastics, and RFID tyre label products.
Kordsa and Continental Showcase Cokoon Sustainability Technology
Kordsa also presented a joint session with Continental on Cokoon, an eco-friendly bonding technology free from formaldehyde. On the first day of the expo, Dr. Mustafa Yasin Şen, Expert Researcher in Chemicals and Materials at Kordsa, and Dr. Cornelia Schmaunz-Hirsch, Senior Reinforcement Developer in Tires at Continental, shared solutions driven by Cokoon technology in textile reinforcement applications. Begüm Aytuğar, Kordsa Marketing Manager, and Seda Araci, Kordsa R&D Technology Manager for Tire Cord Fabric, also discussed “Accelerating Sustainable Solutions for Tyres: Sustainable Reinforcement Solutions of Nylon 66 and Polyester”.
